Yes, I wonder if m@h has overstretched in the number of active users they can handle

Strange goings on a MaH. BOINC Manage showing Message@Home Crapware Test !!!!

So if I understand correctly, S@H is now in an unplanned outage which has preempted the daily planned outage which preempted the weekly planned outage for backups. No wonder the backlog queues are growing...

Using the optimized client my time to process WU's has been cut in half and so has my credits. The only benefit is faster processing for Berkley.

@Gary: If you can call that a benefit. I think the rather have no optimized clients at the moment.

@Alatar: Yes, I thing that Berkeley could do better. For instance a planned outage preempting the unplanned outage which has preempted the daily planned outage which preempted the weekly planned outage for backups. But... wait a minute... This is a new project: Outage@home!!

@Pumpo - ROFL! Too damn funny! Crunch all you want, you just can't report it! :-D

@Rob_G: May I crunch chips/crisps as well? Or paper? Or has it to be numbers?

@ Sanger - I'd quote the criteria for you but the Outage@Home site is never up to check them. :-)

Well, actually a planned outage to eliminate queues keeps the Outage@home site down but we think that we can back to normal outages in a few hours...

You guy's have some wicked humor. I DL 10 days worth of WU and normally I can last 4 days before I don't have any. Now I am 1/2 gone; they had better replinish soon.
Guest

@Gary Hall - I set my cache for 5 days which normally lasts about 2 days. With that said, I have 21 WU ready to go and only 10 left to crunch. I agree. That TB RAID of their's better hurry up!

Oh my, It appears that the speed of light can be manipulated to go faster and slower. So, if man can do this, what if anything can be relative anymore?

Well Berkley has their problems and I do. The hurricane is scheduled to pass directly over Ft. Lauderdale. That means power outages and no crunching for me. Rats. Hopefully, I'll still have a house.

What is this 8/24/2005 8:37:33 PM|Message@Home Crapware Test|as the name of the Project. Is this valid ???

Damn.... need to set my cache higher. Officially out of WU's now. :-( It was only a matter of time.

Just join more projects. You can never run out of work that way. :-)

If you just want one other project to keep your systems busy with work at all times, I would suggest CPDN because the workunits take so long to run and you have a 1 yr deadline to return them. You can set your boinc client to only give a small percentage of time to CPDN and the rest to SETI.
