@seejay thats great my avarage seti work unit takes about 2 hours though i get some that are quicker. as for other projects that can be optimized with 3rd party software i dont know but are still looking

Is 512mb of ram enough to run Climate Prediction on a dual core (2 instances at once)? Keep in mind it will be a cruncher only, so few background programs will run.

@mesman21 : Have a look in your Task-Manager, my PC needs ~700 MB with 2 Climate WUs. But there are some other programms in the background !

Just got an optimized Seti-client. Lets see hw it goes. WU is calculated for 19hrs+. I guess it can be done in 10 hrs. Waiting is the hardest part.... ,)

two climateprediction WUs will barely run on 256 mb. i'd check and sometimes it'd say waiting for memory. 512 should be enough if you don't have a lot of stuff running in windows

@Best:But seriously, go to boincstats.com, then stick your user name into the *Search* box, hit the button and a list of all users with the same username will come up. Click on the icon at the end of the line for the user that you reckon is yourself

@pyro3k, is that for combined cores? you definitely need the optimised app. You can get approx 200 cr/hr (4 cores) on optimised app
