It's a fine feature, I would probably opt in, but the default setting has to be "no", and only after an explicit click on some checkbox it should be changed to "yes". Nobody can expect to be bothered by pms just for crunching some science.

Quick question, in the Rosette grafx what do the red squares represent in the graph? In the x/y axes graph that maps the energy it gets allot of red dots....

@TurboAAA: That is the final lowest energy found for one run. Depending on your prefs you will likely have mutliple runs (and squares) in a WU.

Ya, I get a ton of those ever since I OC my CPU to the 2.71 point. I don't think they are related but it's ironic. Anyway, the main point of my question was to show why the forums are not used. If you have a problem the nice people will shout at you.

Ok Nice people....Is the t/s sec on a trickle in CPDN represent a cumulative avg. or the t/s sec for just that trickle?

Your cumulative average. To check current speed, press Z then 8 while looking at your globe to see the timesteps and get out your stopwatch.

65006508 ~ In WCG go to the web page and go to My grid/ Team and there should be a button to join a team. WCG is a bit different than most projects as they have there web page layout.

After i have downloaded the WU for QMC@home, i am getting a msg "waiting for memory" in status section of boinc...what does it mean?????

@kanta it means you dont have enough available ram space for the program to run, try adjusting the memory settings in boinc, also how much ram do you have?

I just eliminated the "Waiting for memory" msg by adding RAM to my machine.

That's one way to do it I suppose, but without spare memory its much cheaper to adjust your prefs!
