@jorick: Used to only crunch ofr one project, but downtimes were killing me in the beginning. Now that projects are more stable, I now crunch for a whole category to keep things crunching. And besides, many projects are worth it!

There has got to be a way that CPDN can break those into smaller WU's. I have 1 machine crunching 2 WU's and that machine is useless to other projects for 2 weeks now.

No, cpdn can't. The models were written to be run continuously on a single computer using only one maths library. Nobody's going to rewrite a million lines of Fortran to redesign the models. Over 98% of completed models are valid.

An incremental update crashed last night, preventing other updates from starting. Host update is running now.

Jon Boy - I'd think about bidding to host Echelon - not many credits, but your name in many places!!! Bit difficult to fit under your desk though......

@drugelis: thx for the info, I thought I missed something and it was only me who saw no improvement. so Willy has to look a bit further in his box what happened.

@saenger: yep, no prob I have one more thoguht: why do I have so much in the backlog of seti (i.e. 3-4K pending credits), assume random events and short length of seti wu, it should be much less...

@m4rtyn: I'm having an awful time trying to connect with Seti. It keeps saying the project servers are down. I did manage to get a connection long enough today to get 5 WUs to crunch, though.

@drugelis: You should check out the Report deadlines for the Seti WUs. I've got only 4 units with the following deadlines:dd/mm:13/10;14/10;14/10;26/11. No wonder the creds. are lagging.
