@drugelis: if you're running optimised clients, make sure you're using the latest seti app v2.4. If others haven't upgraded yet, please do so. Older boinc clients use a different method to calc the claim, and are wrong.

Was there not a graph with the original SETI that showed where the user's w/u got completed in a map sky? If so I can't find it. Anything downloadable that "mimics" this out there?

The 500K mark is looming for me too And I just received my quote for a 2 CPU 4core Xeon That will be a monster machine. $7K but well worth it... Storing over 200 DVD's on it. 1 CPU core for movies. 7 CPU for Boinc
