That's nice, but the owner of the project has specifically asked that the URL not be spread around, and that the stats not be posted here yet.

@borandi: I know Currently got it set at 3. 5 but I find most projects when you first connect, over download. . . ie they download 3. 5 days of work for themselves. . . hence it screws the scheduler up for a while. . .

In the end, it doens't matter. If you download more units, you'll get credit slower, but you _will_ get it.

You'll still credit as normal, no matter how many WU you d/l. Its just if other people d/l lots of WUs then it takes longer to reach quorum. If thats a prob for some people, do projects with quorum of 1.

S@H is taking 5 to 6 days to verify credit, up to 11 days in some cases, which means I have over 300 work units pending, say around 5000 credits, and it seems to be getting worse. Anyone know a project that actually WANTS your results?

@annieb: You could sign up to either primegrid or hashclash they give you the credit as soon as you report, and you get the credit that you claim, and thereby doesn't get cheated like you often do in S@h

@KEP: . . . and gives you the opportunity to cheat.

@mic: Well it could look like that, but only the cheater who cheats with great skills, will be able to cheat witout beeing noticed. They apparently were alerted by their few cheaters before being notyfied be other user like the good user PoorBoy :-)

Some users have 50,000+ unclaimed credit waiting to reach quorum :p

If the WU doesnt reach quorum, it wont validate until it does. This is because of other people with slow machines or download tons WU. If it bothers you, do as KEP says =)

:kep: Thanks for the suggestion. Problem is I'd have to sacrifice the speed gains given by processor specific customised executables for S@H. I'll think about it.

@ annieb: try Rosetta, or CPDN - both of them doesn't use "pending credit" and gives you instant credit

@annieb: Yep think about it, primegrid has an average duration around 2-3 hours, hashclash 5-30 minutes. Of course it makes more sense if you have the computerpower to join CPDN or Rosetta :-)

@kep: Hmm. . . Hashclash is not accepting signons currently, and Primegrid has not e-mailed me (though I should wait a bit longer)

@annieb: Propably hashclash is near or is overloaded, but you sure should e-mail rytis, even though I thought they were open, aren't they?

@kep: Hashclash apparently found a useful clash and are now figuring out what to do about it, according to their site. Rytis has been in touch. Still some bug. He's working on it.

@kep: Rytis got me running on Primegrid. We'll see how it goes now. Thanks to him, and to you for pointing me in that direction.
