Synergy and Munday isn’t an issue. BOINCstats is more popular and causes more traffic on the project. BTW: does the fact that they carry Leiden stats means that Willy has to ignore the wishes of the project admins?

Leiden just dont want to advertise the project - they still produce XML for those in the know

@ eL-t-Mo:No, mate. The classic SETI stuff is kept on record, though. If you check profiles you can see classic SETI WUs recorded as well as BOINC credits.

@eL-t-Mo: I think there is no such possibility, because BOINC credits are counted from many factors, which weren't suplied with classic version. you know what i meant?

@all ;b What about a fixed rate like 20c/WU at some point in time Maybe someone in charge is reading *g*

@eL-t-Mo: I doubt they do read this shoutbox. If you want to share your idea to SETI devs, visit SETI forum.

@wizzszz: They are not. Hidden stats are 100% hidden. You may lookup a discussion about this concerning other hidden project in the forum.

Mchl: Thanks for the fast reply! But netsoft counts 6,544. 66 for me, including my tiny 3. 5c, and here it is 6,544. 47 w/o?

@Mchl: Sorry, my fault. netsoft is w/ Leiden but w/o a 3. 36 for LHC and here it is the other way round: Thus the difference of 0. 19

50000 cobbles reached! ONO?!

SETI@home Enhanced, now in beta, awards credit according to Flop count, regardless of benchmarks or CPU time.

S@H Plans page says: "Since BOINC credits by computation and not by workunit, this will not change the rate at which you receive credit. " What do u mean that the enhanced application "awards credit according to Flop count"? Thanks in advance.

Flops count each computation. Benchmarks give an average and awards credits based on CPU time used.

I guess seti's not giving out update stats again. My daily count's down to around one fifth of normal. . .

Flops = floating-point operations. Borandi summarized the situation.

Now I'm confused! The new enhanced SETI application will make the WU run longer (More FLOPS computations) without changing the rate of the credits received (Approx. Avg. = 20 to 25/ WU). Is this right?

It should change the daily rate (RAC) so if you were producing 1000/day currently, they expect that you would continue to get 1000/day, just based on fewer WUs with longer crunch times per WU.
