@6TeacheR: uhh, my server is located in a REAL datacenter. I don't think they appreciate a watercooler in there. Anyway, gonna put the donations and the Google money to good use, and gonna get the server an X2.

What kind of computer calculating related server could be overheated due of a server requests? Why the cpu-usage is not alltime 100% and cooling up to date?

@Hount: strange part is even if my cpu is constandly running at 100% while crunching. . . . the cpu-temp is different between the projects. . . just 2-3°C only, but it came to my attention

@Hount: Maybe you don’t know that this server is running through 600.000+ users, 850.000 hosts and 60.000 teams every half hour and has two scheduled database backups per day. This server is very busy! Besides that, it’s also serving these pages and the signatures. Take a look in the forum under news where you can see my current cooling.

@C167: There is a pull-down menu at the right bottom of the screen that says 'From: 30 days'. Change that to 'Show All' en hit Go. (That's where the cut-off from 'or the topics are older than the current age cut-off.' comes from)

I have been reading about these "optimized" SETI client version that you can install and use. But the question is, is this considered cheating???

@marnediv, Not cheating. . . you do more work for the project. . . the only downside others get less credit - should be standard, but harder to maintain for the projects

I started producing at about 150-175% speed with the optimized SETI client, I'm happy to be doing work more efficently, and getting more granted credit to boot.
