OK, we now have a user search facility for PrimeGrid: http://www.primegrid .com/?checkaccount; - should be much easier, as it already tells you if you have not been activated yet.

how difficult would it be to design a feature that allows cross-category comparison, like teams vs. countries, users vs. countries, etc.; also a feature that allows users to readjust the xy parameters on the histograms?

It usually works better to explain ideas in detail in the forum in the ‘Comments and suggestion' section. Gives you a bit more room to work with.
