Willy and krew, first let me say that you are doing an excellant job.

As of right now all my stats are as accurate as BoincStats can display.

I have a host that has been duplicated recently and I have no idea why. BOINCstats BAM Host ID 9538 is showing that it is new as of 5-18-07. This host has been running without any changes for several months now. Why the change? I looked and I can see that for some reason the BOINC CPID for this host has changed but what caused this since this machine has been sitting idle, crunching boinc for at least three weeks.

Nothing big about this one but the "Recent average position change per day" has not changed in a long time. Is there a problem with this?

Thanks and keep up the excellant work.

Please provide a link to the stats of this host.

1st Link:

2nd Link:
http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_host_graph.php?pr=bo&id=2448620
Both links are showing the same computer that has been sitting crunching. It has not had any hardware or software changes. It has been rebooted occasionally by MS updates. Other than that everything has been the same.
The only thing that has changed for me is I got a new network router after lightning took out my last one.

Please advise.

Here is a link to all the hosts on my account:

If you look at pos.#1,3,9,13,14 These are all the same PC that keeps getting duplicated. Intel(R) Core(tm)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz is only one machine that has been running boinc since 9/2006. No hardware/software changes to it. It is only used for BOINC and internet browsing/email.

Same thing with pos.# 5,17 These are all the same PC that kept getting duplicated. Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz is only one machine that has been running BOINC since 9/2006.

Same thing with pos.# 2,7,11,15 These are all the same PC that kept getting duplicated. Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz is only one machine that had been running boinc since 4/2006. Sold it 11/2006 I miss this PC.

This looks like a host CPID problem. It is for certain not a BOINCstats problem, we don't change CPID's.

I'll move this thread to the BOINC forum.
