The server lost a RAID drive which was optimized for speed (RAID0). It contained the database temp and relay log directories so we had some downtime.

Everything should return to normal now.

One drive can't be repaired so it should be replaced.

The network mount from the update server to webserver 2 was dead (shouldn't happen with nfs...) and I just reanimated it. This caused the daily update to be delayed and it will produce some inconsistencies between the two webservers but that will be resolved once the projects are updated again in the next updates.

Bummer. But thanks for the update. This is what I came in to find out about.
