One of my team members reported getting this message:


BOINCstats is currently down for maintenance or to lower the
load on the server during a stats update.
Current load: 6.11

Please try again later.

AS you can see, load is below 20, so something is/was wrong. Unfortunately I can't give you the exact time of this event.
BTW: In what units is load given? Are this %s ?

I disabled the site myself, so the update was finished quicker. That way there was some time left for me to add QMC and re-activate Xtrem.

I have no idea what unit the load is in. Some linux thing. But it can go over 100, so it's not %.

Both say that the load should remain below 3

Load equal to 1 is one process that could take up to 100% CPU time. 2 - two processes, and so on.

Basically, if the load is 1, CPU is used up to 100%, but still is able to cope with additional tasks.
