My RAC has shown a disproportionate rise over the last few days that doesn't tally with what my averages have been. The BS-RAC doesn't reflect the same increase although I do understand that it would normally show a delayed reaction.

Any ideas what could be doing this?

Nope. RAC is assigned by the projects and combined RAC is an accumulation of the projects.

Yeah, thought that Willy but, as you can see from the graph my RAC is quickly heading for 300,000+:-

while my daily points totals are clearly somewhat under 250,000:-

Just seemed strange to me

I see your point. Did you track this down to a single project?

There appears to be a problem with my Ralph@home, Willy, as the RAC graph on that project is showing a JPGraph error although nothing else on that project looks amiss.

Thanks for your time.

Think I have it sussed Willy, as the servers are dead at DNETC the RAC on that project is not diminishing as it normally would and is still showing my RAC to be over 155K. Am I right in thinking this should then sort itself when they come back online?

Yes, you're right.
Normally RAC is updated/recalculated on the project side every time a new task is validated and granted.
If you do not return tasks the RAC is halved every 7 days.
Since there are no DNETC-statistic files BOINCstats can import, the RAC stays the same.
After 10 days of DNETC-inactivity your RAC would be gone down from 158166.23 to 58758.53 for DNETC.

The BS-RAC (BS-RAC = BOINCstats RAC) gives a better impression of the long term RAC-development.
