The Target Calculator has not been remembering last input. If you change page and then return, It goes into a search mode and never finds your setting. the little blue circle just keeps going round and round... All of my systems experiencing this QuirK....

The Javascript framework was changed last weekend and the main Javascript file had to be updated. I added a version parameter to the file, but certain browsers don't care and keep using an (old) cached version.

On my systems the calculator works fine, so I think you have the caching issue. You can solve it by doing a "hard" reload (hold shift while pressing the reload button) and when that does not help remove the boincstats.js file from the browser cache.

You can check if you have the correct version by viewing http://boincstats.com/js/boincstats.js. Line 4 should contain the word "jQuery".

I've noticed this for about a week now; interesting quirk...

Well, again, on all my systems it works, in all browsers I tried and on all pages I can find the credit calculator on.

None of you mentioned even one page on which the error occurs, or posted the javascript error in question. Can't do anything more than I did with the info I have.

Edit: just as a heads up: I will not do any effort to make things working in IE6 or older when it works in IE7.

Willy, It shows up on my main "User detailed "Boincstats Page.
I am running Vista IE 7. When I try to go to the site you posted I get JavaScript runtime error... Code 800A1391 Error: 'document' is undefined.

I reloaded Java from the Java site no help....

Well, that's the file in your cache And Java from the Java site is NOT Javascript! Javascript used by BOINCstats is integrated in your browser. Try deleting the file you mention.

I changed the name from the javascript file, which forces it to be loaded again.

Should it still not work, then please provide the exact page where you encounter the error, and, if possible, include the javascript error (error + linenumber), thanks.

Calculation is functioning.

Some strange things: My detailed stats -> Loading.gif is displayed, but with the text calculate when hovering over it.
When you place a target in the field and press the loading.gif or return the calculation is done and calculate.gif is displayed.
In the IE8 status line: Error on this page.

OK, I think I found it. A true IE problem again. But alas, it should work.

BTW people, try a real browser
