There is no e-mail change facility if you forget your login.

How do you suggest we verify you own the account if you don't know your username and/or password and your email is also changed?

I was using a work email address and left work - now no access. How about providing a way to delete an account?

By the way I knew the username but not the password.

You don't know the password and don't have access to the email address. Then there is no way to verify you own the account. I can't send you an email (you won't get it) and since you don't know the password, you can't log in to change the email address. This means the account is lost for you.

Deleting is not an option either for the same reason you don't have access: how can I verify you are deleting your account instead of somebody else his account.

You lost the password, you forgot to change your email when you left work. This is really a problem you caused yourself and nothing we can do to fix this.

I believe this is the CPID.

So for a while I have been able to see my stats without ever having to log in.

Surely this links to and account in some way in your database?

Anyway, after some tinkering, I have set up accounts with 2 project and used the same login id/password on here and with those projects.
I also regenerated the CPID and some stats are showing now. Thanks for your help.

@Saenger - don't assume everyone can remember login ids when every site in the world requires one.

You do understand I hope that every single person in the world with internet can get CPID's from BOINC sites. They do in no way identify anyone as the owner of a CPID.
