In my opinion the cake diagrams would look much better with more saturated colors.
There are so many blue/pink/purple ones. Why is that?

Free-DC has taken on the task of giving each project a color: Boinc Colors Admin Page. You can petition to change the colors there.

So the project admins can request any color?

SiDock is limegreen on DC and dark blueish here. MLC@home is different as well.
Some others are a little brighter here like CPDN but hey I think I'm already too nip-picky at this point!


Does the cake-graph maybe add some shading like a light reflection thingy? Because on DC the colors look more saturated.

Sometimes when I add a new project it doesn't have a color assigned yet. Then later I forget to check on that project to add the correct color. I'll have a look at it.
