SIMAP itself is more optimistic: The workunits for the about 380.000 new protein sequences (for the July release of SIMAP) will be available from Sun, July 1 (morning).

5 days work left, according to SIMAP. 20% of the work has already been distributed, 41147 results have been returned (out of 747408, so 5.5% is alread done).

In retrospect -where everything is easier- a mere extension of the challenge would have served the same purpose, without losing the first 25% of the WUs. Pen-Ding holds some 165 WUs for me now, 252 have already been validated

Hey, all! I'm burning in new CPUs for the day job I wouldn't hope to get this much in future challenges, but while they're otherwise idle the VMs can really crunch on the SIMAP WUs! I think we're burning about 3.5kW right now at full bore.
