Sicituradastra. is doing a very good job. With the current temperatures it's better to stay in BOINCstats shadow

The deadline of the tasks is a week, so 1 week is fine. SIMAP work differ from 1 day to several weeks. No work doesn't mean, you have no work, but the tasks are distributed. 1 slow core needs ~3 days to complete the max of 30 tasks.

In most cases the challenge was way too short so far since we got new work for 8-10 days, sometimes even 14 or more, so this time we can at least get in all pending credits. Nothing wrong with that.

One week is fine. We don't know when exactly it will start and end in advance. Pendings will kick in before the end, so it's a good thing. I'd like more WU to crunch, because i want more credits in SIMAP, but we do what we have.
Now on the race, will Rechenkraft.net beat us? You're catching on, guys! It's all for the good of SIMAP

;-) I guess most of us will crunch Simap if theres a challenge connected to it or not. So the work will always be done. I have still yet to see they have given out wu`s for a whole week - and more.. Must have been before i discovered Simap. So no wonder I ask. But if you think 1 week is the best lenght for this race, then maybe it is. ;-)

I could live well with 8-10 days for the Challenge and take more late credits and more pending in (we really had masses during the last one). One the other hand, it's just fun as it is, so it really does not matter that much.

Well.. to get most possible fun out of it, we could ask Simap to drop the wu`s twice each month insted of only once. hehe
