hey patrick i don't know about you but i was running seti before there was boinc and have been a member in this wonderfull team ever since i left seti usa after being ignored for a year. funny how that siren call works

Scott - same. Seti classic on a PII - helped keep the mail server busy, boinc for years, but only joined a team recently (Apr'2010)

@Patrick, I should have not said as much as I did already. I was only hoping to tone down the chat and turn it back to fun for all - not meant to ruffle anyone's feathers. Yes, like yourself and Scott, I have crunched since the Seti Classic days when a Pentium 200MMX was top of the line. ;-)

I see nothings changed, every time SICI is involved in a Challenge it turns into a Piss & Moan Challenge. One reason I won't run the Challenges anymore, takes all the fun out of them ... IMO

I don't mind a bit of politics provided it is in good fun. I will however defend my right to join whatever team I like. It is my machines that I paid for and nobody will tell me what team to join or when, I will make that decision. In any case, it is the project that benefits from challenges, so let us have fun and stop criticising.
