It seems that newer projects are not getting all the preferences when they are saved in BAM, although the older projects do.

Please, advise.

TIA

Rethinking this. Do you refer to the new features introduced with BOINC vs.6.

If so then this is not a bug report but a feature request and I will implement these soon (when I have the specs of these features).

Willy,

What happens is that I have preferences for global, home, school and work. However, when I update the projects through BAM, the newer ones get only global preferences and the other preferences are deleted. Older projects seem to get all preferences updated.

If I manually add the preferences in a new project to include all of them, then they are propagated to all the other projects without any loss.

Thanks.

Can you give some examples of "old" and "new" projects that (do not) work for you.

I should have said projects that I suspect use the server versus those that haven't upgraded yet. In the former group, Primegrid, in the latter, APS.

Thanks.

I just tried changing the "home" venue preferences and it seems that all projects got it right, including those with old server code - those which do not support the option "Maintain enough work for additional x days" - , except for PrimeGrid, which made the new settings for the "home" venue the default one and deleted all the other venues.

TIA

Correction: the only preference saved in PrimeGrid was the "global" venue from BAM, while the others were deleted in PrimeGrid.

Only PrimeGrid has problems updating the preferences from BAM!. If the preferences are updated from another project, PrimeGrid does update them as expected though.

Any update on this, please?

Looks like PrimeGrid fixed things on their end (see http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=922).

Thanks.
