that's one oppinion "pe", and you're totally entitled to have it, but also please notice, that they are now giving messages in both hungarian aswell as in english. I will personally fill the time untill planetquest goes beta by december, by helping SZTAKI, again so I won't lose 240 hours of credit each year.

@Rebirther: yeah thats a help, but its too much there thats not translated. if they are really in need of new users they will have to change that.

@KEP: they should at least translate the basic sites. i can guess whats standing there, but i am not going to sign up that way.. and you cant talk about loosing credit. enough to crunch. besides that the other half is getting more credit than claimed

@pe: I have no problems with that, the forum is in english, the rest is the same like other projects, time is coming for translating

@Rebirther: fine with you the site doesnt look very inviting to non-hungarian-speaking ppl (personal opinion) and therefor my personal decision for not joining is made. happy crunching

@pe: fair enough, we all decide what to join and what not to join. It's all part of ones interests and I guess that's the best part of living and working your way around in the free world. And don't take it as an attack on your interests, because they are totally your's and can't be changed. Just hope you all join PlanetQuest when it goes beta/public, and untill then I'll crunch 43 WU a day for sztaki DG, then I for one feel I've help that much that I can be expected to help.

BOINC will keep the science alive and more people are interesting in and can help out to write history and our future!

@Rebirther: I hope it opens up on friday, but unfortunantly I doesn't have an account, maybe I'll creat one when more users is accepted or when it goes public. Time will show. Good luck on finding a future threat... it was about time that some people began look into this issue!

@Kep: Iam lucky I have one but I think it will takes a while for getting a new account, its only a test phase and yes people must understanding the profit of Boinc!

@Rebirther: I btw read today with great pleasure that Germany has joined the Aurora project, which I think is a great benefit. Unfortunantly Denmark hasn't yet and I'm not sure they will any time near in the future. I think many understands the value of BOINC, at least 250000+ does

@Rebirther: Aurora is the ESA effort to bring people to Mars nothing later than 2030, and before that to bring people to the Moon

Is there a BOINC project for Aurora?

@Prognatus: No there isn't. It's a group of governments fra the European Space Agency countrie (not all of them) and Spain and Canada who has determined that the Aurora project by 2030 should bring Europe to Mars. What they try to achieve, I really can't see DB playing a role in. But of course if they really need huge computer ressources, there might someday be a DB project in connection with Aurora. Only time will tell. But at least for now, there isn't a DB project surrounding Aurora
