I also primarily only see them in Seti/Einstein. If these problems are legit why does the person not reset the project to correct? I saw one that had 5K over a 10 day period then shot up 3XX,XXX then down then back up/down every other day for 45 days

Not everyone looks at their stats outside of the project site. They may not even be aware of the problem, or even of stat sites.

well I guess I am just lucky then as I have added, removed computers and reinstalled boinc and attached/detached and reset many projects and never had a problem.

Strange... My computer connects to BoincStats every day but the host list says the last time it connected was two weeks ago, which was the day before the first time it contacted BoincStats.
