@boosted: Some people do stupid things to make themselves look good or feel good in their own eyes or to improve how they think others will see them. Look at Bill Clinton

@Boosted: Other people mess up their IDs so that their credit chart looks like it's on a pogo stick.

No I see many that get an enourmous amount of credit, then the next or a short time later lose it. but you see a couple hundred gain between the loss and gains.

as example, who will gain 258,254 in one days with 2 computers, then lose that exact amount the next day then gain 154, then anout 2XX,XXX and the 2XX,XXX the very next day? that is fishy, very fishy. I could see 1,2 times, not repeatedly for weeks.

if someone is gaining and losing, it doesn't sound like cheating. It sounds like a CPID problem.

zombie67: While legitamate CPID problems are the most likely indicator, there was a dirtbag busted around newyears last year that was having massive CPID problems with a boinc running botnet.

Ultimately he lost his ill-gotten gains.

yes, he was eventually dealt with. But my point is that is someone is having massive losses along with massive gains, it is likely a CPID issue, not cheating.

Yea, I had a massive drop and gain at the same amount once before. It was an issue with my user name and/or team name not being case sensitive. But my CPID hasn't had any problems so far.

But the thing is these issues can be seen for the entire 60 history, and most likely go further. I have seen a few grapghs that are normal, then all the sudden go nuts, but the actual gain is still relative to the original lines.
