The op apps. inflate numbers that do not exsist. many admins are trying to get them removed/banned.

@boosted: The SETI one does the same work faster and with no additional errors. If it were a problem, the admins could ignore the results. Some of the admins are clueless.

@boosted: Don't mix up opt. Clients and opt. apps. The opt. apps. are speeding up the scientific calculations, while the opt. Clients just inflate benchmarks

@boosted: what is faster: 1+1=2 or 6^2-35+sin^2(a)+cos^2(a)=1 ? If answer in your world is first simple addition operation, then this is what optimized apps do - opptimizing ridiculuous calculations. How can it be something artificial???

there are no opt. apps for many projects, because the admins has really better things to do than programming and taking care of them...

Just noticed a very nice use for the RAC BS-RAC data graph: You can use it to tell the effect adding anohter project has on your stats. I added Leiden around the end of July and I notice my blue line has dropped 30-40pts and is now below the red.

optimized apps are available on SETI, and used to for Einstein. Einstein doesn't have them for their new project yet.
