@bruno: all the sap and bbc credits are included in the cpdn credit if oyu have an account on cpdn.

On the one hand it looks like BOINC will have 1m users soon. On the other hand, there seems to be a downtrend in active users. . . ??

@nubz: afaik sap is not, bbc may be included but the decition is not made yet, and spinup credits have always been included

It would be a bad idea to include them into CPDN. It will mess up the combined statistics as BBC will always be a part of the combined total.

Looks like BBC credit is now classed as CPDN credit, so now its duplicated through the stat sites

I tried to filter it out on my ministats, but there is a bug somewhere. Guess it's too late now, BBC have been added - with all the havock it will do

My BOINC Mngrs shows huge spikes in CPDN but no drop in BBC Climate. The extra in CPDN is exactly the BBC amount. Like to see that change on both graphs too

But think BBC will have to be dropped eventually.

@mikem1: BBC can't be dropped. Consider those who crunched BBC but never will crunch the main project. A reversal of the merger would be better

Hi, I have merged credits from various climateprediction. net "sub-projects" into the main cp. net site. I have also copied across BBC accounts, and will do that for CPDN Seasonal project, so stats should just use the main cp. net stats.

@carlc: Why did you do this? The credits will never be lost on sites likes BOINCstats. It will just cause a lost of work, just to filter out the credits from those two projects. And what about those who never crunched the main project?

@Willy: Every BBC participant has now an account on CPDN, whether he crunched there before or not. So everybody's credits will be merged soon, and you can delete BBC and Seasonal Attrib.

@ carlc: Because of dividing the credits of CPND and spinup, is it possible to reactivate the spinup sites. Else these credits will shown nowhere.

I think merging the stats was the best solution, because it's the same project, only different wu's. . . and BBC will be retired soon.

Just to repeat -- BBC & Seasonal credits will not be merged to CPDN. 'Classic' (pre-boinc) & spinup credits will be merged though (as they have been in the past). BBC users can track their stats here of course.

To finish off my "shout" below --- BBC Expt credits will be shown on your main CPDN page, but not added to the CPDN total. So the CPDN site(s) will be consistent with the stats sites. Sorry for the confusion!
