Maybe you didn't understand. If you don't like the site, don't come back. If you prefer SETIsynergy, go there. Do a search on my handle - here and in SETIsynergy. If their stats went as far back you'd see there are days when SETI doesn't update. NO ONE can give you credit other than SETI. If they don't update for days, there is no hope of ANY stat site being correct. If they don't update - no one can. As far as the time since the last update, if you can read a 'zulu' clock, you can determine how long ago it was updated. I don't have a problem reading a GMT (Zulu) clock - I work for an international company. I have to know what time it is at the home office when I call. Again - if you like another site better, great. Go there instead. If you can't appreciate this site, just go away. :@wohoo - where do you think his (pissedoff) handle comes from? The whole conversation started when he (pissedoff) wanted this site to be a clone of another. Once again - if you don't like the site, simply go elsewhere. The SETI project lists several sites to choose from.

@Jaroyse, If you paid attention in the first place you would have seen that I was pissed off because I really like this site but I was resorting to using the other site because it would update the stats sometimes a day before boincstats, and it was not due to SETI not updating, as setisynergy had updated. I never wanted this site to be a clone, nor did I state that. What I said was perhaps boincstats could put the hrs since update after the time. I do not work for an international company, being a 22 yr old female, and hence do not have the need for clock converting programs on my pc, or needing to know the time in Timbuktu. I am a plain old SETI fan with a plain old job and I don’t need your plain old ass blasting me when you don’t know what I was talking about in the first place.

'Fraid I agree with jaroyse. Your first post was the typical whining of a credit accumulator. It contained nothing worthwhile and was very insulting. My suggestion is for you to leave and go elsewhere and do your complaining there. -HRU

i do use zulu time as i work with satelites (and they typically see multiple time zones) but i also think that putting a "updated x ago" message rather than the gmt one is a good idea. pissedoff, your first message was insulting whether you meant it to be or not. as for update times, each site is going to do it differently. obviously the last site to update is going to be the most current. if you absolutely need up to the second stats then bookmark multiple sites so you can see how is most current.

Why the CPID on BOINCStats and on project home pages are different???

I use both SetiSynergy and Boincstats. The former for the prompt updates and the latter for the overall BOINC stats, all the data expresses in % and the monthly history. Keep crunchin'!!!

@Nikolay: The CPID in the XML that is handed to the third party sites is hashed with the email address, and the CPID as displayed on the project sites is not hashed. This is done to ensure that you cannot pretend to be someone else and confuse the stats sites.

Let me see if I got this straight. You don't want this site to be a clone, you just want it to tell time the same as another site and update on the same schedule. Maybe the graphics should change to match? If you don't get that, you'll go somewhere else. Well? What's keeping you? If you feel 'blasted', perhaps you should change your perspective. What I said was, "If you like another site better, great. Go there instead." No insult, just advice. If you're in that much of a hurry and can't wait a couple of hours, download the XML files and parse them yourself - you'll be as up-to-date as possible. You'll even be better than SETIsynergy. And you can do it (update) any time you want. I'm not suggesting that you run a public site, just get the information you want on the schedule you want. As another poster remarked, I am a major credit accumulator (top 5%) - that's why I wanted you to see my stats. It's fine with me that this site only updates once a day overall. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.

jarose, you dont make sense, you talk about suggestions yet when pissedoff made one you accused her of cloning the site? She made one suggestion about the time and asked why boincstats was so slow. I think the hours since update after the time could be a good idea, as I am pretty hopeless with converting the time myself, and if I recall correctly her first post was in dismay that boincstats is such a great site but was updating extremely slowly and setisynergy seemed to be faster. I did not find it insulting pissedoff, (perhaps you could have been more tactful in your approach), in fact I checked both sites over a couple of day and found you were right, but I still prefer boincstats. All I can say is that if I ever have a suggestion I think I will keep it to myself if this is the reception people get.

@Mr Bad, My world ranking is just above 1600 and I am number 60 in my country (well according to synergy it is now 59) I am sorry if I offended people with my posts, this obviously was not my intent. My intent was to express how disappointed I was that synergy updated first as I prefer to use boincstats. I didnt think that suggesting the hrs since update would send jaroyse into a cloning frenzy otherwise I would not have suggested it. @ Kristy: Thanks for the support. I guess i could have been more tactful!

My BOINC states seem be be crossed with the Pridictor states giving a sence of double entry. Would like to know what is going on>

I see a possibility that the address may be seen as different as on Predictor I used Caps and in others did not.
