I'm a Engineering/IT student at ANU Canberra, Australia.
Opinion about BOINCstats/BAM!
Knew someone running World Community Grid so i thought I would join too. I thought it might be a good idea to make my PCs do some charitable work, seeing as they're sitting around doing nothing, and seeing as i can't be bothered/don't have the time to do any myself. I saw that grid computing is more than just WCG and found BOINC. Then i thought, hey, well its nice to have credit, but who am i going to boast to? my friends? i don't think so. Most of them don't even know what grid computing is, let alone own a BS account. Maybe uni will be different...(it wasn't)
