Distributed computing health initiatives are one way pro-lifers can help stop the media bias which claims we aren't pro-health or pro-science. What could be further from the truth? Pro-life people are all about the providing health and life to human beings, but not at the cost of human beings. It is not morally justifiable to kill a 3rd world resident to take their kidneys and for the same reasons it would not be justifiable to harvest stem cells from a human embryo. Pro-lifers do believe in scientific research for cures. We do believe in adult stem cell research, just not research that destroys a human life. And of course we believe in protein folding prediction as a useful tool in helping mankind find scientific understanding for health and cures for diseases.
