My personal background
We're a couple living in Lafayette Indiana. He's a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University working on computational models, and she works at a local hospital.

We run a 'nursing home' for our families' old computers where we run the BOINC client. We're also environmentally conscious, so we only run the extra machines in the winter when their waste heat contributes to heating our home!

Opinion about BOINCstats/BAM!
We want to contribute to the scientific enterprise, and this is a good use for old computers our families don't want anymore!
