Hello,

This is a recurring problem that I have encountered in the last few months. First, it appears to be an incorrect statement as I have set the project in question (usually one of the GPU favorites), and have no other projects set for gpu use at the time. Not that you do not know what it looks like, but here it is:
This sample of my log entry shows the friendly message...
Code:
PNORMAN163

296 Collatz Conjecture 08/15/2013 21:29:34 update requested by user
297 Collatz Conjecture 08/15/2013 21:29:39 Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
298 Collatz Conjecture 08/15/2013 21:29:39 Not requesting tasks: project is not highest priority
299 Collatz Conjecture 08/15/2013 21:29:41 Scheduler request completed

This shows that only 5 projects are even enable to work on this machine atm. Three are nci's, with WCG running cpu tasks and Collatz should be my only gpu project right now. Further it shows that Collatz is (should be) high up on the food chain for work.

So, where does the program come up with this information that Collatz is not of the highest priority?

Thanks in advance for your assist.

The priority which project should be asked for new work/should run first has changed in BOINC 7 and is based on Recent Estimated Credit.
The project with the lowest Recent Estimated Credit (REC) has the highest priority.

Have a look here: REC-based scheduler specially this sentence: For generations, the work scheduler in the BOINC client has been giving users headaches

Crystal Pellet - Thanks for the good laugh! That statement is an understatement! I played with the queue size a little and suddenly the wu started coming. Thank you for your help.
