I don't know what happend, but for the last week I have had issues with finished work units being uploading. I use WCG mostly. The GPU stuff I am doing seems to upload quickly. I turned off WCG and started trying to use Rossetta, Einstein and Seti, but am finding they also are not uploading right. Last night I canceled all work untis for WCG and it seems like over night about 90% of them finally uploaded including those finished work units.

I am using Win 7 64
I have not updated Boinc yet as I have a lot of work units, don't know if that will effect it.


What causes this problem? I have NEVER in the 5+ years I have been using Boinc had this issue.

It's probably not the fault of your machine but of the project servers.

WCG had severe hard- and software issues in the last weeks:

That's a very unusual behaviour of the project, they were always excellent maintained, and they probably still are, as those issues can always happen, and they get resolved quite quick.

Seti is run on an extreme low budget and always has issues with downtimes etc.

Thanks! I was thinkingt was the project servers. I couldn't find any news about the WCG problems. Where did you find this news. I looked on their website, but did not see it. Last night it was hanging pretty bad, but this morning everything got sent through sometime during the night. There was a still a few units that didn't send, but that seems to have been resolved now. Indeed they have been very reliable since the beginning. It seems like it is working now. Thanks for your quick reply on this!
