I have some machines running 2.03 and i have some machines running 4.05.
On both versions is predictor running (and seti).
Now, i noticed that in the stats i appear twice.
In both stats i can see that predictor is running.
I suspect that (correct me if i'm wrong) that is the reason i appear twice in the stats.
If that is the case....will the cpid's line up sooner or later?

The "older" version run on machines that i have only every now and then acces to so upgrading those machines might take some time.

At the moment, Predictor only runs in BOINC3. SETI runs in BOINC4. To line up the CPID's, you have to run (and succesfully connect to the scheduler) both projects in 1 BOINC app.

Willy, thx for your reply.
You're right, i made some mistakes in my last post.
(memo to self: dont post when drinking beer)

The facts are like this:
Some machines run 3.20 with seti and predictor.
Some machines run 4.05 with seti and climate.

I plan to upgrade those 3.20 machines slowly to 4.05.

So worst case scenario is that the CPID's wil line up when Predictor becomes 4.05 and i have some machines running predictor?

Bad, how can you be running Seti/BOINC and Predictor on teh same machine??

Seti needs BOINC core4 and Predictor uses BOINC core3.

Unless you're running SETI Classic... which doens't contribute to the stats at this site...

Ur right....

Those 3.20 machines used to run seti and predictor.
I didnt uninstall seti on those machines and the RAC doesnt drop.....
So i asumed that seti still runs on 3.20
As i said i dont have acces all the time to those machines so i cant check that.

And to top it off, Predictor hasn't handed out any work for several weeks, and they will not hand out any more until they have upgraded to 4.x. I would just bite the bullet and upgrade those machines to 4.09 (or later) as soon as you can. They are probably bone dry <!--emo&--> You do not have to uninstall or detach. Just stop BOINC, and install over the top. If you wish to attach multiple machines to one project, you can attach on one machine, wait for a WU to DL, and copy the account_*.xml file. Then you can stop BOINC on the new machine, and copy the file there. Restart BOINC, and you are attached whether the project is up or not.
