I have access to both these GPUs. Which would give more PPD?

Hard to say since neither are very good cards for GPU work at the Projects. If I had to guess I'd say the M8900 as a Quadro Card is tailored more for precision rather than speed. Don't expect much from the M8900 either, I run a GT 8700M in my Laptop once in awhile and it's waaaaaay slower than a regular Desktop card like a GTX 460 or similar cards ...
