I have 3 questions regarding the projects I am running.

Currently I have 8 I am running, but I've noticed that not all of my projects are getting credits daily and I am wanting to see that each project gets worked sometime through the week. It seems that the one project AndrOINC seems to have NUMEROUS "Running, High Priority" WU's, and it takes processor time from other projects.

My system is a Core2Quad Q8400, and an ATI Radeon HD4850

My questions are these:

1 - Is there a way I can "time limit" a project so that it runs between certain times only? I know that BAM can be configured that way, just don't know if individual projects can be done that way too.

2 - If there is no way to "schedule" projects to run, would I just suspend projects each day so that only the one(s) I want running will process any WU's?

2a - Is this a wise thing to do - suspending projects in order to get other projects to run?

Thanks, in advance, for all your help and guidance.

You might want to look into adjusting the resource share for your projects. You can do that on this site (project resources), or go to the individual project websites. You'll have to update your projects from the BOINC project manager to get the changes to kick in.

I used to try and modulate projects by suspending them to let others catch up... but that seemed to jam up things even more as some projects would download even more files to work on after I messed with them.

I am still a novice at this... so take my advice with a grain or two of salt.
