Hi,
I reinstalled my PC, nothing from HW point of view changed, just new Win7 on it!.
Also I named it slightly different
"Gandalf" instead of "GANDALF"
Now this "new" machine is seen like NEW machine and starts from scratch.

247530 Gandalf 6.10.58 2010-11-12 / 5:25:38 0
211292 GANDALF 6.10.58 2010-11-10 / 21:15:13 6,943

Automatic MERGING from BOINC Manager is not working
Can I somehow force those two hosts to merge?
thx

You SHOULD be able to merge them, unless you have upgraded to a new OS; unfortunately, different OS is one of the traits BOINC uses to discern a "unique" and ummergable host. You will have to do this at each of the individual projects, however.

THANKS, yes automatic merging from BOINC MAnager is NOT working in this case, but going to individual projects and merging WORKS fine.

thanks

I'm not aware the such a feature exists... BAM does not have the capability to merge hosts, since its data is pulled daily from each of the projects.
