I have a question to you and I hope you will help us.
We are currently creating our own statistics for our team and we are facing several problems.
The userstats are taken from the WAPstats of the projects - this is no problem. To figure out what users are inside the teams there is no WAPstats available, a pitty <!--emo&-->
Now we decided to use the projects user_id.xml files. But they seem to be too big (SETI: over 30M to get them parsed effectively. We just want a list of the users inside our team-id. The described format for 'team_detail' doesn't exist on the projects sites.

How do you get the informations? Do you parse the whole big xml-files?

Thank you

Yes, I parse the big ones. I have no other choice. There are no other files, and even if there were other files, I want all the info I can get.

And yes: parsing the files from SETI takes a while, even on a fast computers.

This is really a pitty. It shouldn't be a big case for the projects to make a WAP-stat like the one for the users just with the team-id.

Files are usually at http://project.site/stats/
Like http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/stats/
Link can be found in Other statistics section on project site.

Well, OK. Mh, do you think you could give me a small advice what to do further? I have an Apache webserver with PHP and MySQL and until now I know nothing about XML and how to handle this.
Maybe my server will need a parser for XML, right? But I am a bit confused aubut all the stuff I found on the net.
THX!
