Hello;

Maybe it's a silly question but i have a problem when i restart my computer the whole progress about my pojects start from begining the progress bar shows 0.0 but the cpu time is continue...

now tell me is there any kind of way to make check points and when i restart my comp progress can start over that save point

how can i save my work

You yourself cannot create checkpoints. The projects decide how often (and if they want to) make check points. I guess you are running a project that does not support checkpointing.

Can't you just change your general BOINC preferences for "Leave applications in memory while suspended" to "yes"? Or does that not carry over between restarts? In any case, it's definitely more efficient than having that pref set to "no" and having to start from the previous checkpoint every single time you switch project apps.

That only works if the core client is actually running. If you shut down BOINC or reboot and no checkpoint is reached, then you'll start from the beginning (or the last checkpoint).

hmm i am using rosetta and tanpaku maybe they are not support this funciton

Rosetta has a problem with the % when you restart Boinc.

It starts over at 0% even if the WU has done 2H and restarts at that point.

So you don't loose work (more than to last checkpoint) but the % to finsh is off at restart.
