Since I have downloaded the latest version of the BOINC Manager (5.8.15), about 50% of the time on startup, I get the error message "BOINC Manager was not able to connect to a local client. Would you like to try again".
To connect to the local client, you have to open the BOINC Manager, select Advanced, Select Computer, then type in "localhost".
I never had this on previous releases of the manager and it doesn't always happen.
Does anyone else have this? Is this a "bug" or a "feature"? Is there a workaround?
