I think AMS would return such an error if it cannot find the requested user in its database. Verify your user credentials and then try again.

Forgive me for my ignorance but how do i do that?
Ive recently changed my user name and signed up with WCG
these are the only things ive altered would that cause it?

I think the change in the user name has caused this error. Please try the following steps bellow. These should fix the problem:
1. In BOINC Manager choose Advanced->Defect from BOINCstats BAM!
2. Then use Tools->Attach to Account manger to attach your host again to BAM!. When prompted for User name and Password enter your new credentials. After you finish the wizard you should be again successfully attached to BAM!

Note that this procedure must be repeated for every host you own and is attached to BAM!.

Thanks Son thats sorted it ,and if i may ask ive found ive 2 ID's under same name and E Mail address etc but 1 is international and the one my host seems to be attached to is under my own nationality why is this ?

For the two IDs thing, attach a host to all your projects and wait some days. As long as your email is the same on all projects you're attached to, the CPID should merge itself.

For the nationality, it seems you're International on SETI and CPDN, you should change your country on the project websites (SETI, CPDN).
