Well, is this error message

somehow related to the issue of moving (which should be tomorrow) or is this something unrelated???

Yes it is related. I just prepared the code for the IP changes and made a little typo which resulted in one of the webservers not being updated. It will be fixed after the next incremental update.

Ok, thanks, thought it could be something like this, but just wanted to check and make sure that before the preparations for the move, no soft brown matter had hit a fast rotating appliance...

So why the h*** did it take so long?

The RAID drive with the operating system on the database server failed. One of the drives was broken. The OS didn´t want to boot from the other drive (why does the OS think I created a RAID in the first place). Had to educate myself in Linux RAID recovery and I fixed it. DB OS now running from a single drive.

One of the webservers locked up a few times. It's now running, have to investigate why this happens.

But the real kicker is the load-balancing. After the move it only wanted to balance either BOINCstats or BAM!, not both. After too much time I left it on BOINCstats, and that's where we are now.

I'm going to eat something first (starving, had only one sandwich all day). Then I'll try again.

Made another DNS change (BAM! IP address) and everything should work now.

I now get this on the site:

The requested URL /stats/boinc_user_graph.php was not found on this server.

Started on Feb 14th. OK up until then.

By any chance are you using Opera for your web browser?
I have seen that same error message when I use Opera since the move took place but not in Firefox or Chrome. Do not know what's causing it... possibly a "dirty" DNS cache.

Try flushing the DNS cache on the affected PC and or rebooting your router to clear it's built-in cache.

If that does not work post back and see if Willy missed something in the changes he made to the underlying code.

/stats/boinc_user_graph.php is a URL from the old site. It redirects to the new URL, but it still has been decommissioned for about a year now.

That's the link which is used by various projects when they direct to BOINCstats.

Collatz Conjecture, correlizer, eon2, malariacontrol, PrimeGrid and SAT@home all still use it

(Moo! Wrapper and SETI@home use an /en/stats/-1/user/detail/... link, which I take it is the new URI?)

Around 13:00UTC today I will (try to) fix the broken RAID in the database server. BOINCstats or BAM! should not be affected by this.

Lets see what Murphy has in store today.
