There are network (routing) problems in the data-center. Due to this a number if IP addresses BOINCstats uses are unreachable. Among these are the IP addresses for maintenance (can't even post a proper news item) and BAM!.

They are (now) aware of the problem. Now we wait.

Finally got tired of waiting for a solution, so I went tinkering myself and I solved the problem partly. BAM! works again, as do most IP's except for a few IP's used for maintenance.

So, what was/is the problem: the ARP table cache in their routers/servers is out-of-date after they changed their network infrastructure.

Unfortunately my "fix" has a limited lifetime, after which I have to run the fix again. Availability of BAM! is not guaranteed .

The problem still isn't solved. A while ago most IP-addresses died, but I was able to quickly revive them. I now have scheduled scripts running to run the temp fix until the DC has found the real problem.
