The 5th Pani-Galactic BOINC Workshop will take place tomorrow and on Friday here in Barcelona and GPUGRID will be there. We will also be presenting a remote submission system that we use in the lab to safely interact with the server, to send/retrieve WUs from it. In the exhausting darkness of the polar night, I was just wandering about this "Pan-Galactic" workshop... As it is the 5th one, I do expect there's still a lot of "grimmy-Grid" experiences from extraterrestrial crunchers to be communicate to their terrestrial sisters & brothers...

However, I did, the last month, notice that the GPUGRID did have a significant disaffection amongst crunchers of the Nordic countries and specially Finland. Where they almost disappeared. So I found that the real purpose for this "Pan-Galactic" whatever, might be a kind of recruit campaign for some new extra-terrestrial Grid-crunchers to the Barcelona-based project.
