Today at around 17:00GMT the BOINCstats server unexpectedly stopped responding. After trying several ways of communicating with the server I was forced to reboot the server by remote APC at 17:45GMT. There appears to be no damage to the database.

As I suspected, the server log revealed that the CPU was overheating at the time of the crash.
