Comments on the following newsitem
Monday October 27th 2008 I will move the BOINCstats and PrimeGrid servers to the new rack. I can't guestimate the exact downtime, but it will be several hours, since I will have to drag the servers up to the first floor and there will be network changes.

I'll start with PrimeGrid so that Rytis can test his servers and connections while I move BOINCstats.

Let's all hope that Murphy has a day off!

Murphy was here all day!

First the (factory build!) power cable for the PSU shorted out. Had to build a new one from some loose cables. But what was worse is that after moving the BOINCstats www server it didn't start up again. After some attempts to get it going I drove to Alternate (you know, where I work, how convenient it is close) where we discovered that the PSU was dead. I replaced it but a identical PSU wasn't available so I had to McGyver it into the casing. But all is working now and at the moment I'm reconfigurating the networksettings for PrimeGrid and BOINCstats.

Well, seems Murphy doesn't made beer o'clock yet.
All the data from the retired projects seems to be lost from all users.
I lost about 27.000 credits.
Willy, could it be that the data from the retired projects are on another server and not included yet?
I remember we had something similar in the past...

Yeah, the list of retired projects is on the www server, which was down.

To prevent updates from failing because the www is down I started to put duplicates of all needed stuff on the database server, guessed I missed this one.

Anyway, the projects will return on the next daily. I don't have the time now to do it manually.

Thats's right, the credits are back again in the stats, but I still miss the Nano-Hive piece in the pie-chart
