Comments on the following newsitem
In the night of October 1st on October 2nd the datacenter (where the BOINCstats and PrimeGrid servers are located) will replace several key elements of the power grid. Due to this, the servers will be powered down at October 1st 23:00GMT. The downtime is unknown at this point, but it will be at least three hours.
Of course, during this time, BOINCstats and BAM! will be offline.

I apologize for the inconvenience and I sincerely hope that this will be the last of the downtimes.

OK, we are back up.

A few notes:

  • There were a few crashed tables in the database, most notably the BAM! host table (so some host may complain about a inconsistent signing key, but on the next connection that should be gone) and the PrimeGrid result table (meaning you can't upload/download PG work)
  • I just started the host update, four hours later than usual. Just after I started it there was another power failure, the servers kept running but the network switch went down, so the update was unable to download the host XML from SETI and Predictor so no update for these projects.
  • Fingers crossed for no more downtime
