I like these two blurry styles!
But I also can imagine that when it's smaller it would be not that impressive maybe...

Me thinks you're right. Maybe if they were less blurry they would come out great when the are smaller. I would give it 30% - 50% less blurr and see what that does. I think you're almost there, Cori. Way, WAY cool!!

Cori, you can only ask the creator for the font, otherwise its not concure in font, style and colors, first samples are a good beginning but the new logo is too large.

Errr, do you mean the new logo in general is too large?
Well, of course it will appear in a smaller size on the website, but as I don't know yet the final size Willy needs I made them all a bit bigger to better view them here.

For the font: Meanwhile I think I don't want the font from the logo for "stats" or "BAM!". With two different fonts the BOINCstats style is a bit more "discretely".

Hi.
I'm the guy who drawn the new Boinc logo.
I'd like to let you know, that letters in new Boinc logo are handdrawn, so probably there are no font fitting exactly this style. I reccomend using completly different font to add "stats" to current Boinc logo (just like current BoinsStats logo using two different fonts, and it makes no problem).

If I could help or explain something, please post to this thread.

Hey, congrats Michal on your new design of the BOINC logo! Although I must admit I needed one day to realize I really like it.
And I hope you don't mind my experiments with your new logo here.
Feel free to add BOINCstats and BAM! designs on your own! I bet you have some more ideas!
