Please excuse me if this is the wrong forum or has already been brought up. My question is what dictates the Project Status category under Project status information. I see a lot of projects listed as Alpha which is just silly. Especially a project that has the word BETA in their name. Ex: Climateprediction.net BETA. Are these projects listing themselves that way somewhere and just forgetting to make a change or is this something on BOINCStats side? Is PrimeGrid really still BETA? I mean come on. There needs to be a point where they are no longer labeling themselves in this way. If you have a project for multiple years, shouldn't you progress your project beyond just BETA? Most sites have an option to do BETA work when that work is available. Does the whole project really need to be listed in this way?

This site (boincstats.com) is a stats site, just showing all kind of information delivered by the projects. If you think some information about a particular project is outdated here, you should place your questions and/or remarks in the forum of that project. When needed, the project administrator(s) can take the appropriate action, for example contact this site and provide updated information.
