This is possibly not related to BoincStats (or any other account manager, haven't checked that yet), but it shows the problem here only. It has to do with comp ID's not 'converging' to a single ID, wether by hand or by the automatic mechanisms in BOINC.
It's a complete riddle to me, and if anyone could help even if only by explaining things to me I'd appreciate it (I'm this little boy who takes things apart to find out how they work).

I manage several hosts, one of which is always attached to all projects and the others just to some. At some point I discoverd that only a few hosts appear only once in BoincStats, the rest had more than one system ID. So I looked up all the projects and by merging duplicate hosts there I cleared most of the duplicates in BS as well.

Yoy can probably imagine where this story goes... For two comps the merge trick did not succeed. One still has 3 ID's, 2 of which have a duplicate project. The duplicate is Seti (work is being done) which claims to know only one host. So no luck there. The 3rd ID has only Einstein (inactive atm) and I can think of no way to get it to merge with the most recent ID as Einstein apparently acknowledges only one ID which is somehow isolated from the rest of the BOINC community.

The other comp has two ID's, the oldest one just Einstein (inactiv atm) and the newer one the projects it was attached to a few days ago, including Einstein.
All the older ID's are inactive as in no credits gained for between 2 and 10 months.
I upgraded BOINC to 5.8.16 on several comps 2 months ago and a few weeks ago on all comps to 5.10.0. Today I've upgraded the all-projects comp to 5.10.7.
To clear the duplicate ID's, in the last few weeks I've tried things like updating all projects on all comps but nothing has been succesfull so far.

All this is not really a big deal, just annoying. But if anyone knows what is going on here or can even give tips on how to clear this I'd appreciate it.
