My message stated that I was getting multiple error messages that said BOINC could not communicate with the server. It provided instructions to fix the problem, but the instructions were not correct.

Your thread posted. But I've moved it to the BOINC Forum (link) because its place was there The problem you've described has nothing to do with BOINCstats but with the BOINC Client itself. Next time please post your questions/errors in the correct forum!
