so that what appears on top is my username instead of my real name? Where does it get that info from? I tried looking in my profile but I don't see where my name appears.

What appears on top is the user name you used to sign up to the projects

I did specify a different username for both Rosetti and WCG, which I use to log into those sites. With SETI, there doesn't seem to be a concept of a username. Could it be using SETI's then?

Hi mt,

Most (all?) BOINC projects use the email address, not user name, for log in and ID purposes. You can change the user name to whatever you like, by going to the "other account info" link on the "your account" page of each of your projects. Both Rosetta and Seti have this form; I'm not sure about WCG.

If you use the same nickname for each project (and of course the same email) BOINCstats will show that user name on your stats boxes.

It's possible to have different User names for each of your projects, and in this case BOINCstats chooses just one to display, not sure which: it may be the one where you have the most credit, or were first registered.

So if you change all your user names to mteverest that should be reflected in your signature in a day or two.
